Cambridge Key English Test 1 contains four complete sets of test papers for the new Key English Test (KET), which was introduced in 1995 and which is intended as an examination for students at pre-PET (Preliminary English Test) level. The papers included in this collection have been specially prepared by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate and are based on past examination papers, providing students with excellent pre-test practice. The accompanying Teacher's Book contains a detailed introduction to the KET and clear guidance on marking as well as tapescripts of the recorded material and keys to all the questions. The cassette contains the recorded material for the listening papers in the same timed format as the exam.
