The source of countries' prosperity is access to capital via open capital markets even though inheritance and savings also are other sources of capital. Furthermore, if skilled, talented and educated people do not have access to open capital markets, they will resort to government bailouts, crime or migrate to other countries. With the development of open capital markets comes a more politically tolerant, open system that people trust -- people also trust that policies and laws will be applied equitably and that they have recourse, a court of law to address grievances.
